In addition to showcasing old cars, the new attraction is designed to showcase Toyota’s past , present and future , to both team members and guests.
Visitors can enjoy a series of interactive exhibits and eye-catching displays, created to honour the people who are responsible for the company’s success.
The Scope
Completed in partnership with Group Delphi, Zone Display Cases’ scope was to fabricate 6 large freestanding wall cases with shelving systems to display a variety of automobile-related collections.
A few other cases can also be found in the Motor Sports Gallery. The Toyota Racing Development trophy case marks IMSA GTO and GTP championships, open-wheel racing success including the Indy 500 and, today, a nearly unbeatable combination for NASCAR victories.

Challenge
Although this project went very smoothly, the on-site delivery logistic was probably the biggest challenge, since the museum was not equipped with a loading dock to offload our merchandise.
Our delivery freight truck could only reach up to the main parking area. Once off-loaded with a forklift, our large and heavy crates needed to be brought into the museum using dollies, through a challenging pathway that included slopes and ramps.
Some 2000+lbs crates needed to be opened outside, with the glass and steel components to be carried manually into the museum.

Our Solutions
The solution to successfully deliver the cases into the TEC was simple. We created a delivery plan which was shared with Group Delphi. They were already on-site to coordinate the exhibit fabrication work with the installation of our cases.
The communication and collaboration with Group Delphi was key to facilitate our delivery process.
A Simple and Effective Solution
Part of our plan was to rent the proper unloading and moving equipment to simplify the transportation of our large and heavy crates. We also made sure to have enough staff on-site to manually carry the parts that could not be brought in with their protective crates.
Of course, the delivery took a little longer than usual, but it was completed safely, within schedule and without any damages.
