Zone Display Cases designed and producted display cases for the American Democracy et Many Voices, One Nation.

The Scope

Designed by Haley Sharpe and completed in collaboration with Los Angeles-based Cinnabar, Zone’s scope of work was to complete the design, production, and installation of nearly hundred display cases for two specific galleries; American Democracy and Many Voices, One Nation.

Among all cases, an impressive 12-foot-long table with a one-piece glass top, and an enormous freestanding case with a 700 lbs, 13 ft. by 10 ft. glass door, both to be opened by a single person.

The complexity was mainly related to the design itself, with nearly a hundred cases of various shapes and sizes to be modelized and delivered with a set budget and a tight timeline.

Our Solutions

The 3D design software that we used, combined with weekly group meetings were key to the completion of this project.

Assigning a full-time dedicated Project Manager and Senior Designer was also essential and allowed us to keep on track with schedules and budgets.
